After the show, CFMoto originally planned to release the grand touring rig in China by the first half of 2021. Unfortunately, those plans fell through, but the firm recently used CIMA 2021 to reintroduce the platform. Of course, the TR-G still boasts a 1279cc KTM LC8 V-twin engine that develops 140 horsepower.

On the other hand, WP’s electronically adjustable suspension now gives way to a Marzocchi fork. Whether this compromise was achieved with the TR-G’s price tag, we’ll never know. However, CFMoto is reducing the competition with an MSRP of $15,500.

Compared to the R 1250 RT’s asking price of $20,190, the TR-G offers a range of bikes for much less money. This inequality is even greater in China, the only market getting the new CFMoto model (for now). Priced at CN 285,900 yen ($44,000), the Bavarian Tourer costs twice as much as the North American model and nearly three times as much as the 1250 TR-G.

With this price advantage, many foresee that the new CFMoto will dominate the Chinese market. The 300NK and 650NK brands recently debuted in Europe, and CFMoto plans to ship its 800MT and 700CL-X next year.

Fast-forward about three years later, the Rocket E-Bike is now ready for production. In fact, the company has begun taking pre-orders for this lightweight electric personal mobility device. The Rocket E-Bike is equipped with a hub motor that can propel this little two-wheeler to a top speed of 50 miles per hour.

The short circuit equivalent of 8.5 horses is certainly nothing like the speed of light, but it is certainly more than enough to offer an exciting ride around town.

The bike weighs only 55 pounds and is certainly one of the lightest electric mopeds available on the market. The 16-inch cast aluminum wheels front and rear provide a stable and confident ride, while the hydraulic combination brake system (CBS) ensures safety and full rider control. The range will be 50 miles on a single charge.

As for pricing and availability, the SOL pocket rocket is now open for pre-order for a starting price of €500, or $590. However, the total price of the entry-level SOL pocket rocket is 5,980 euros or $7,056.

Now, as Aprilia continues to expand its 660 platform lineup (RS, Tzopoi Tuareg), Italian digital designer Lorenzo Coppo believes it’s time to revive the Caponord.

Originally powered by a liquid-cooled, 1200cc, 90-degree V-twin eight-valve engine, the Caponord 1200 produced 128 horsepower and 85.5 lb-ft of torque. Coppo, however, had other ideas in mind, preferring to base his digital concept on Aprilea’s lauded V4 mill, now in the Tuono 1100.

Tuned to the street, the Tuono trim V4 generates 175 horsepower and 89.2 lb-ft of torque. That’s a significant drop from the RSV4’s 217 horsepower and 92 lb-ft of torque, but it’s a marked improvement over the old caponord.

Along with the V4 powerplant, Coppo also uses Aprilia’s new daytime running lights design and the iconic black/red paint scheme. However, the designer makes the layout his own with aggressive, angular bodywork, a streamlined tail section and sharp exhaust mufflers.

Additional designs include a series of mini LED brake lights at the rear, while practical features such as a tall windshield, high steering wheel and phone compartment complete the touring features.
